Library Cards

  • Any resident or property owner may have a library card.
  • Children may have a library card starting at age 7.
  • Non Residents may purchase a card for $25.00 per year.
  • If you are employed in Fair Haven you may have a library card renewable each year.
  • Fair Haven Residents are eligible for a Monmouth County Library card as we are a member library.  Just bring proof of address when you visit a county branch.

Museum Passes

Passes available to patrons: 

  • Museum of Natural History
  • Guggenheim Museum
  • Cooper-Hewitt Museum
  • Intrepid
  • Grounds for Sculpture
  • The Frick

  • Books and books on CD are loaned for a period of two weeks. 
  • Materials may be renewed twice if there are no holds on the items.
  • A late fee of ¢10 per day per book will be charged for late returns.
  • Lost items will be charged to your account and must be paid before privileges are restored.
  • Dvds are loaned for two days.
  • Dvds are $1.00 per day per DVD if returned late.
  • Reserves may be placed on items in person or by calling the library (732-747-5031 x220).

Renewing Materials

  • You may renew materials online, in person or on the phone (732-747-5031 x220).
  • To renew online you need your library card number.
  • Click on the Renew/Catalog link and click on book icon.  Go to My Account and login.  A password is not required.
